One of the purposes of the 2009
HBCU-UP National Research Conference is to provide students
an opportunity to share their research through poster sessions
and oral presentations. Students are invited to submit abstracts
of their research in seven science, technology, engineering, and
mathematics (STEM) disciplines. Student participation in the
HBCU-UP Conference is limited to students who submit abstracts
which are then accepted for either the poster or oral presentation
sessions. Accepted abstracts for poster and oral presentations
will be published in the HBCU-UP Conference Program Book, and
prizes will be awarded in each discipline.
Faculty members and exhibitors are invited to serve as
on-site judges
for the poster sessions and oral presentations.
