Submit a Nugget - Deadline January 31, 2006
Once again, we are requesting nuggets that can be shared with the field and with our funder, the U.S. Congress. We want a succinct paragraph of no more than 250 words (1750 characters) that describes one of the innovative aspects or one key area of your program and should focus on benefits to the graduate fellows. You might want to consider this question as you write the paragraph:

Through involvement in the GK12 program, how are the graduate students: (1) strengthening their career paths; (2) contributing to their disciplines; and/or (3) integrating their STEM knowledge and cutting-edge research experience into the K-12 classroom?

In addition to this paragraph, you should attach an attention getting photo that highlights your work or a press release about your program. NSF reserves the right to use and release nuggets and photos.

Contact bcalinge@aaas.org with any questions.
