The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Directorate for Education and Human Resources Programs (EHR), is pleased to host the 2007 Graduate Scholars Annual Meeting, which will be held October 4-7, 2007, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington, DC.

AAAS encourages all active Scholars to attend. All scholars that attend must present either an oral or poster presentation.

The HBCU-UP Conference is a national gathering of more than 700 students and faculty working together to enhance the quality of undergraduate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and research at the nation's historically black colleges and universities . At the Conference, students will be presenting research in more than seven STEM disciplines.

The Conference provides representatives from universities, corporations, and federal agencies an excellent venue for promoting:

  • Undergraduate Research Opportunities
  • Graduate School Opportunities
  • Fellowship and Internship Opportunities
  • Faculty Research Opportunities
