Welcome

From 1992 to 2003, through a competitive process the David and Lucile Packard Foundation has awarded fellowships of up to $100,000 to graduates of HBCUs who were admitted to science and technology doctoral programs at U.S. universities. 2003 marked the final year that new Graduate Scholar grants were awarded and the transition of the program administration for current Graduate Scholars to the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).

Administered by the AAAS and funded by the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
